The Tinkerbell fan in our home finally has the room she's been asking for. I'm sure I will add more details as I come across more items, but she is happy with this for now and so is Mommy.
Here is here Tinkerbell bedding she got for Christmas. Yep, 4 months ago! Smh! And it matched perfectly with the$6.99 thrifted headboard I DIY'ed here! And the cute, fluffy rug I got from Ross a little more than a month ago for $8.99.
Here are the butterflies I got from Etsy a few months ago to add to the Tinkerbell theme. Sorry for the bad lighting, but the sunshine has been lovely these past few days :). These butterflies have glitter on them and I just put tape on the back of them and stuck them to the wall on each side of the window. I really love it!
And I had leftover butterflies so I added a few to her door!
And added more to her wall (not pictured) on both sides of her quote, also purchased from Etsy.com. The picture in the frame I got months ago as well for free from Walgreens with a promo code that was available. And the picture frame was already in her room with just a different picture inside.
I have to say that I'm very pleased with how things turned out. The key to many projects are picking up things along the way that goes with your theme. You not only find unique pieces most times but you get inspiration along the way and hopefully save some $$$$$$$.
