Let's Make a Deal!

So I haven't been thrifting lately, well not exactly. I have gone thrifting about 4 times in the past couple weeks but I haven't found much at all. I don't know if it is the approaching season change or lack of donations but I haven't had much luck lately. I have by no means given up on thrifting but I will just wait until I have a decent haul to make another video.

But in the mean time, I decided to share some deals I have gotten lately using my rewards and beloved coupons :). So let's jump right into it!

Kmart
I know there aren't many Kmart's around much anymore but we still have a couple in my area. If you don't know, they do have a Shop Your Way Rewards (SYWR) program that also can be used at Sears. You get extra rewards, special prices and each time you shop you get ponits that add up to $$$$$! So last week they emailed me and said they gave me 5,000 surprise points which equals $5. I didn't really need anything but I'm not going to pass up free money. I went looking around and found some pajamas they had on clearance with an additional 40% off. I picked up one and a couple packages of soap because we were running out and headed to the register. Once I got there and gave the cashier my phone number for my SYWR she also said I had $3 and some change in rewards already in my account. YAY! So that paired with my free $5 made for a great deal.

I love the pjs, because they are a nice warm fleece material. And as you can see from my receipt I paid a whooping $0.59 for everything!

Walgreens
There is a great deal on Almay makeup at Walgreens this week (ending tomorrow). All of the products are B1G1 50% and there is a Walgreens coupon in their March coupon book and a $5/2 Almay on coupons.com.
I bought 4 of the Almay eye shadows that were $4.99 each.
I also grabbed a bag of chips and a bottle of sparkling water. Hey, it was lunch time lol.

Anyway, I used two of the $5/2 coupons and used the $2 coupon in the Walgreens book that took $2 off each eye shadow when she scanned it. Peep the receipt...

I didn't even have to pay for anything! When she put in my second $5/2 coupon it prompted her to give me back $0.16 in change. Yep, Walgreens paid me to shop in their store today. Pretty nice deal!

I love using my coupon money over my green cash any day! Happy deal shopping!
