Within the past couple years I have become obsessed with polishing my nails. I currently have a collection of over 50 different polishes along with dotting tools, nail stamp plates, vitamin E nail and cuticle oil and a cuticle trimmer. I do my nails at least once a week and since I have a girly toddler, I'm always painting an additional ten little fingernails lol! I still love going to the nail salon, but there is nothing I hate more than spending $20 for a mani and it looks terrible in 3 days. So it's much cheaper to take care of my nails myself but every now and then I do treat them to a professional manicure :).
In my stash, I have about 5 bottles of clear polish alone (never enough, right???), glitter polishes, neon colors, sugar coat polishes, crackle polishes, and even mood polishes.

I am by no means a professional and have had my fair share of bad nail days, but it's one of the many things I enjoy and it's something that I do just for me at least once a week :). Below are just a few of the "designs" I have done. Number one tip I can give it to always apply a base coat before your color. I have found that some brands will stain your nails and then I have to use my buffer to remove it. I must also apply a top coat to keep my nails from chipping too soon and I have tried many but this brand from Sally Hansen seems to work best for me.
I tried painting my nails all one color this week and it lasted about 30 mins lol! I recently found MissJenFABULOUS channel on YouTube and she gives great nail tutorials. Check her out!
